Lake Balboa

This is one of the few times I played with the dodge and burn tools in photoshop. I think it's a cool funky image.

Thanks everyone for all the positve feeback on this one!!!! This is the first time I've ever posted my photos for public viewing by other photographers and I was/am SO SO nervous. Thanks again. This aminus community is great.

Yeah, thats really cool! What a great subject, I love birds of all stripes, but Herons are some of the coolest.

@amy: Thanks Amy. You know, as a novice, I've tried all of the quick and easy photo editing tools out there....at least everything that's free or has a free trial...and it I guess it always comes back to photoshop if you want to really want to get creative with images. It's just SO time consuming...but I guess I need to break out the manual and stop complaining :)
